Yannan Chenye

Prior to joining HGI in 2015, Yannan Chenye was the Greater China Investment Manager for China at Amundi Asset Management. Chenye also worked for Pepco Energy Services in Washington DC, responsible for financial planning and was involved in energy derivative trading. Chenye obtained her MBA degree from the George Washington University and Bachelor degree in finance from Nankai University. She is a CFA charterholder. She is fluent in English, Putonghua, Cantonese and German.

Yiqian Jiang

Yiqian Jiang joined Harvest Asset Management in September 2009 and is responsible for core China equities strategy. Prior to Harvest, she worked at Deutsche Asset Management in Hong Kong for nine years as a portfolio manager for Chinese equities. Her previous experience includes three years as an assistant manager of Shanghai International Asset Management (HK) and two years in the Shanghai B share market for Shanghai Shenyin Securities (currently known as Shenyin Wanguo). Jiang graduated from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics with a degree in finance. She also holds a MBA in international banking and finance from the University of Birmingham in the UK.

Objective

The investment objective of the Sub-Fund is to provide capital appreciation over the medium to long term by investing primarily in equity and equity-related securities of companies which are incorporated in, have their area of primary activity in or which are related to the growth of the People’s Republic of China.
