Lionel Bernard attended the University of Toulouse where he gained a master's degree in international trade in 1991. He joined Paribas Brazil in 1996 as a credit analyst in the corporate banking department. In 1997 he moved to BNP Brazil where he became the head of credit analysis in 1999. He joined Crédit Lyonnais Asset Management in 2000 and worked as a corporate analyst responsible for global emerging markets and distressed debt. Lionel became an emerging markets equity fund manager of Latin America equities at Amundi in 2005. He is in charge of Latin America stock picking for both Latin America portfolios and global emerging markets portfolios.

Patrice Lemonnier

Patrice Lemonnier was born in Paris in 1963. He studied Civil Engineering and Project Finance at Ecole Spéciale des Travaux Publics et de l’Industrie (1986) and Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Paris (1987). From 1989 to 1994 Lemonnier was an International Internal Auditor at Crédit Lyonnais, before it became Crédit Agricole Asset Management (now Amundi). Since 1994 he has been a Latin America portfolio manager, and since 2002 he has held the role of the Head of Emerging Market Equities. Outside of fund management, Lemonnier enjoys walking.

Objective

The objective of the Sub-Fund is to seek medium term capital growth by investing at least two thirds of its assets in shares and financial instruments replicating or based on shares (equity-linked instruments) of companies of Latin American countries. The Sub-Fund may invest in financial derivative instruments for hedging purpose and for the purpose of efficient portfolio management. The MSCI EM Latin America index represents the reference indicator of the Sub-Fund. The Sub-Fund does not aim to replicate the reference indicator and may therefore significantly deviate from it.
